Summary
Notorious Nashville Rockers the Naughty Skoolgirls are hosting a celebration of Girls Who Rock! with a "Battle of the Bands" style Talent Search at BB Kings Blues Bar in Downtown Nashville - Friday Nights in April 2005. The competition is open to bands with at least one girl who ROCKS, or solo female performers who rock hard! Participants will play a twenty-minute set of their music (one cover tune is OK). Three slots for Sonicbids members guaranteed. Must be 16 years and over.
Celebrity judges include E Street Band bassist Garry Tallent, pop hit songwriter/producer/record exec Robert Ellis Orrall (Hilary Duff), SONY Music Nashvilles Susan Myers, BUZZ 102.9 radio host Aljon, Lightning 100 radio host/producer/concert promoter Billy Block, Mark Slaughter of the hard rock band Slaughter, record retailer/promoter/rocker Grimey, pop rock guitar god/ hit songwriter Bill Lloyd, The Naughty Skoolgirls and many more industry big shots to be announced!
Prizes include prize packages from Guitar Center of Nashville, Infinity Cat Recordings, and an appearance at GRRRLFest 2005 Rock Concert April 29!
