In particular, Halogen specializes in the distribution, promotion, marketing, development, production of artists world-wide, and production of live music events in the USA. It is looking to sign 12 Sonicbids hip-hop, alternative, independent, jazz, soul, funk, and world music artists to its roster. Selected artists will receive the services that Halogen Media Works provides.



About Halogen Media Works:


Halogen had its humble beginning in a modest dorm room at Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. CEO/President Justin Hoy founded Halogen in 1997 to help musicians on campus and in the local area to get their music heard and distributed nationally. He worked with Josiah Friedberg to develop what would become Halogen Media Works.



In 2005 Halogen Records began promoting live events has not stopped in their efforts to build a live music brand in Vermont as well as developing tours throughout the USA. Halogen Media Works include: Halogen Records, Hipjoint Records, and Halogen Media Publishing. Together these companies combine to create a strong presence for maintaining the integrity of the future of music. It strives to provide a time when artists can fully realize their vision and be heard by their local community and the world.



Some of the national talent connected to Halogen include: Immortal Technique, BlackSheep, and Akil the MC, to name a few. Halogen works with artists throughout the country to bring a brilliant spectrum of musical styles and influences to the forefront.
