Summary

The Hamilton Firefighter's Chili & Music Fest brings together Hamilton’s top restaurant chili crafters to do battle against Hamilton Firehouse Chilis. This event (formerly known as The Hamilton Firefighter's Chili Cook-Off) has seen a rapid transformation since it’s humble beginnings at Hamilton’s Ferguson Station 4 years ago. It's early success led the founders to join forces with the Augusta Block Party, and host a combined event. Combined, the event has closed down Augusta Street for the last 3 summers and turned up the heat for a weekend long block party.

The event has grown in popularity and expanded into what is known today as the Firefighter's Chili & Music Fest. This year marks another move in location and expansion as the festival will be taking over Confederation Park and host the Hamilton 2013 Firefit competition as well.
