Hard Rock Cafe Chicago and Sonicbids present: First Thursdays Singer/Songwriter Showcase. Hard Rock Cafe Chicago will feature 1-3 local/regional Sonicbids singer/songwriters the first Thursday of every month. In addition, Sonicbids members who attend the show will receive 10% off their food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases during the show.



In addition to Thursday’s showcase, Friday nights are also available to feature two-three band bills of local, regional, and touring indie rock bands./n/nHard Rock Cafe Chicago and Sonicbids present: First Thursdays Singer/Songwriter Showcase

Hard Rock Cafe Chicago will feature 1-3 local/regional Sonicbids singer/songwriters the first Thursday of every month. In addition, Sonicbids members who attend the show, will receive 10% off their food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases during the show. You must provide the Sonicbids coupon upon receiving your check. This coupon offer is valid to Sonicbids artists within the following states: Illinois, Wisconsin, & Indiana.

The venue has a capacity of 700 and charges a $5 cover for audience members. Local draw and previous shows in the area play a key role in booking decisions. Artists are also responsible for promotions and outreach pending Hard Rock approval of graphics. In addition to Thursday’s Sonicbids singer/songwriter showcase, Friday nights are also available to feature two-three band bills of local, regional, and touring alternative, indie, and rock bands.

Selected artists receive:


  • A guarantee plus incentives from the door if the artist has a strong draw.

  • The venue provides a brand new JBL suspended sound system, lighting, and a sound engineer.
