What has to be the New Hampshire pub with the biggest crowd, Harlows Pub is packed on Friday and Saturday nights with locals enjoying great food, beer, wine, liquors, music and dancing. It's where everyone can find the storekeepers, politicians, writers, farmers, artists and their friends hanging out in a lively atmosphere of conversation and table-hopping. In winter, skiers enter the picture, drawn by the cozy decor and dartboards.



Compensation varies per artist. The standard deal for first time performers is 100% of the door over $100 with a ticket price of $5. This is a gross potential of about $600. The standard deal for regular or national performers is $350 versus 100% of the door over $450 or whichever is greater. The cover charge is usually in between $5 - $10.



Located in a 19th century building, with every wall, nook and cranny covered in memorabilia, paraphernalia, sculptures and artwork, audiences and artists alike get the feeling of a rich history of America. Old books, magazine clippings, the bell hanging from the ceiling for the last call and the poster advertising the "Wizard of Oz" finish off the picture. One recent Irish immigrant said it was "the best pub this side of the Atlantic."



All artists receive free food and 50% off all their alcoholic beverages.



Harlow’s has hosted some of the most talented and well-known acts such as The Dresdon Dolls, Roots Of Creation, Jah Spirit, Patiokings, Mevin Sparks, Dub Is A Weapon, Giant Panda Gorilla Dub Squad, Leah Randazzo Group, Marcy Hill Bluegrass band, Truffle, Ameranoche, and many more.
