Summary
Harris Entertainment was established in 1985 and is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Nancy Harris and Sam Harris, both musicians themselves with degrees in music from the University of Louisville, have created a company focused on matching the people who make music with the people who need music. In 2004, Jessica Harris joined the company as an agent working with casual engagements and festivals.
With emphasis on high quality and reliability, Harris Entertainments bands and ensembles are booked for corporate and private events as well as festivals, conventions, and childrens events. Contracts for union musicians are filed with the American Federation of Musicians. We also provide orchestral contracting services and have been working with PNC Bank Broadway in Louisville touring shows for over 20 years, placing professional orchestral musicians in pit orchestras.
While Harris Entertainments clients reside across the nation, engagements generally take place within 200 miles of Louisville, Kentucky. We are currently accepting submissions in all genres for roster consideration. Please note that although we can appreciate the drive to become famous or land a record deal, this is not that opportunity. We are looking for talented, reliable, and regionally local musicians / bands / entertainers that want professional work through corporate engagements, private parties, and festivals.
