Beat Marketing presents: Hear it Here - a compilation CD series distributed to 1200 cafés and coffeehouses across the United States. The Hear it Here compilation CD is produced bi-monthly and serviced free of charge to 1200 participating cafes.

For Volume 36 (going out in early September), Beat Marketing is making an exclusive disc packaged along side the initial compilation that will be comprised of sixteen Sonicbids artists. This disc will be sent to the entire Hear it Here network, where the music will be played numerous times a day in each location and exposed to hundreds of thousands of people. Additionally, one sonicbids artist will be chosen to go on the main Hear it Here disc along with all of the other top name artists! The Hear It Here compilation CD is fully back announced and provides cafe goers information on each artist they are listening to and where they can purchase the music that is being played.

Hear it Here is distributed to cafes in all major US markets including: New York, LA, Chicago, Miami, Austin, and many more. It’s also distributed to smaller markets like Virginia, Vermont, North Dakota, New Mexico, etc. The cafés are not major chains, but neighborhood music-centric cafes that pride themselves in great customer service. These cafes have promised to play each Hear it Here disc and report back how many plays per day they average and if any particular track stands out with the customers. The cafes in this network love this program as they are always provided with free music that is current and GREAT!

Artists that have been featured on Hear it Here include:
Paul McCartney, John Fogerty, Melissa Etheridge, Coldplay, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Nick Drake, Bob Marley and The Wailers, Marvin Gaye, The B-52s, Robert Plant & Alison Krause, Nickel Creek, Dolly Parton, Blues Traveler, Ray Lamontagne, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Enya, Elton John, Patty Larkin, Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, and hundreds of other artists.

Beat Marketing has traditionally provided this service by selling space on the compilation CDs to labels, and they have completely filled 35 volumes of music to date. Labels pay up to $1500 per track to be part of this program, but Sonicbids artists will pay no additional fees.

Please note: The lyrical content must be clean, non-offensive, and not overtly sexual. Selected artists must provide CD quality music either by overnight delivery, rapidshare, or via Beat Marketing's private ftp (credentials will be provided). This program fits all genres with the exception of orchestral classical music. All tracks should be under 4:00 in length for the best chance of selection. Artists who don’t officially submit through Sonicbids will not be considered for placement on the exclusive 2nd disc, but can be discussed for the main disc at a special rate of $1200. The compilation is for promotional use only, and will not be sold. Selections are entirely made by Beat Marketing, and all submissions will be carefully evaluated. Every artist that gets selected into this program will receive 10 copies of the Hear it Here CD for their personal collection and use.
