Summary

Heartland Community College is a public college looking for local and touring performers in all music genres to come play on campus. They are open to most genres, as they are interested in presenting a variety of musical styles./n/nHeartland Community College is a public college looking for local and touring performers in all music genres to come play on campus. They are open to most genres, as they are interested in presenting a variety of musical styles.



Here's what selected artists will get:



  • Compensation (details are negotiable).

  • Lunch following the performance.

  • Typically, lodging will be provided for touring acts at a local hotel.

  • A basic sound system, including operator, can be provided.



All performances take place in their campus cafeteria, between 11 am and 1 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. The cafeteria seats approximately 45-125 people. For Fall, Heartland holds approximately one-two concerts per month from September through December. The cafeteria where performances take place is a newly renovated space that has a permanent stage space.



In the past, Heartland Community College has hosted such Sonicbids artists as: Roxi Copland, El Payo, Nate Evans, Ramoth Gilead, Monica Herzig, Jeffrey James, Scott Wesley.
