Summary
It's that time of the year for local bands to come and play at one of Brooklyn's best music venues! Hell Phone is looking for awesome bands to play throughout the winter and spring. With a dedicated local following, this is a great way to build your reputation in and play with other great bands.
The Opportunity
HELL PHONE features a stage built specifically for local and artists of all kinds to showcase their work. In addition to the standard cafe fare, Hell Phone also offers beer and wine options that would be available during performances. The business is owned by a French family, who wants all their customers to feel at home. This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. This is an amazing opportunity to get active in a super progressive music scene and start building a fan base and relationships with one of the best venues in town.
The Band
- Looking for acoustic, or pop ONLY
- Do not submit experimental, metal/hard rock, hip hop, DJ
- HELL PHONE is open to both cover bands and artists performing original work
- Bands are expected to draw at least 30 people on any night
- Please submit ONLY if you are looking for a venue to perform and able to bring followers
The Gig
Backline Details:
- 4-Piece Tama Drum Kit Imperial Star: Kick, rack, floor, snare, plus all hardware & cymbals
- We don't have a guitar amp and no equipment from outside is authorized (Don t bring extra amp, or extra equipment)
- 6 Channel Yamaha Portable PA System
- Pair 2-way 70 Watt Yamaha PA speakers
- 1- Mixer Behringer 8 channels, X1204usb
Additional Compensation Details:
- Compensation varies depending on the evening. Artists will receive a percentage of overall sales for the night if they draw well.
- Each artist have 20% discount on all the menu (drinks and food)
