Summary

Hermans Hideaway, located in Denver, CO, is Denver's best live music venue and brings in bands and artists that have been playing awesome music for the community for over two decades. We're looking to book local, regional to touring acts to perform live on all nights of the week. Herman's is currently looking for Sonicbids artists to come to rock the stage!

We're looking ahead in the 2022 calendar due to social distancing measures currently in place.

The Opportunity

Rocking Denver for over 25 years and getting S. Broadway drunk since 1962, Herman's has hosted +25,000 bands and has helped launch the careers of groups such as Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Opie Gone Bad. The Hideaway stage has been rocked by the talents of Faith No More, 311, The Fray, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Phish, Brett Dennen, Tab Benoit, Doug Kersha and more. 

Today, newcomers get a chance to break into the scene in a weekly showcase of new talent that keeps the dance floor a swirling mass of grooving chaos. On the weekends, the music will be good and the dance floor will be full of the happiest people in Denver.

The Band

  • This is an ongoing opportunity so apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. We're looking for bands of all genres that play ALL original music, as well as some covers. We always welcome singer-songwriters and acoustic acts. 
  • We usually book Rock, Metal, Indie, Alternative, Blues and Soul acts
  • Bands must be actively playing shows 
  • Acts must have a solid online presence 
  • All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
  • Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

The Gig

  • Medium, raised stage
  • Full backline and PA avail 
  • Capacity-550
  • Payment-Determined at time of booking
  • A sound system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment
  • Bands are able to sell merch on-site
Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated upon booking.
