Summary

This listing is for a “Direct Placement.” If you are selected, this promoter will guarantee your placement in the specified gig.

HGR (Hella Good Records) is seeking music for a feature film. The film, titled Nonames, is the story of a group of childhood friends and their struggles with adulthood in a dying Midwestern town. They are looking for music which fits that theme, era and style- specifically modern, original songs in the style of the following examples.

  • Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
  • Ain't Seen Nothing Yet by BTO
  • Slow Ride by Foghat

The promoter respectfully requests that artists own or control the master recording and publishing of the submitted song. Compensation will range from $100 to $500 per song that is placed. Artists will also be given end title credit and cue sheet credit. This is great opportunity for any artist to earn some cash and gain some quality exposure at the same time.

HGR was established by premiere film and TV music composers, producers and supervisors at Bad Ass Music after working on a feature film where they placed a ton of awesome independent talent from all over the world. Their passion for exposing new artists to the business of film, TV and trailer music placement compelled them to create a record label with the goal of signing the very best indie bands and singer-songwriters suitable for one-stop licensing.
