HipHopDownloads.ca - Fresh Out Digital Compilation (Aug-Sept '10)

The Fresh Out Digital Compilation is a tool created by HipHopDownloads.ca for known and unknown major and independent artist to promote and digitally sell new music. The website will feature one new compilation each month, which will be available for free download during that month. After the initial month, the tracks from the compilation will be available for purchase. Artists keep 70% of the proceeds from these purchases./n/nThe Fresh Out Digital Compilation is a tool created by HipHopDownloads.ca for known and unknown major and independent artist to promote and digitally sell new music. The website will feature one new compilation each month, which will be available for free download during that month. After the initial month, the tracks from the compilation will be available for purchase. They aim to include at least five Sonicbids artists on the compilations.

The compilation will be made available through the hiphopdownloads.ca website and promoted through all the social media websites. They will host a custom Facebook listening party one the day the compilation is released for extra exposure. Artists featured on the compilation will be ask to take part in the listening party, but this is not required of them.

All selected artists are required to sign up for a FREE account on HipHopDownloads.ca, provide a biography, hi-res photo and their song in WAV format. Artists are encouraged to sell additional music non-exclusively through the site and they must be the copyright owner or have legal authorization to distribute the music on behalf of the copyright owner. Artists recieve 70% of the proceeds from these sales. This is a great outlet for hip hop artists to promote themselves as well as sell their music.
