The High Land Jam is held every year in late summer at the Pegasus Farm Campground in Elkins, West Virginia.
Elkins is a medium-sized rural community located in the Tygart River Valley. It is the Randolph County seat and the center of services for the surrounding counties.

The Pegasus Farm is an ideal setting. Although just five minutes from town and the conveniences you need, the Farm is totally isolated. It is located in the center of the Tygart Valley — to the west is the highest mountain chain east of the Rockies (the Laurel and Rich Mountains, both over 4,000 feet high); to the east, rolling hills that lead into town, and eventually to another mountain chain, again over 4,000 feet in elevation. From the center of the campground, you can see all the mountains all around you! The southern and northern boundaries are marked with a quiet, clear-water run and the deep waters of Chenoweth Creek, a very large creek that empties into the Tygart River. On the other side of these waterways are hundreds of acres of pasture land and cornfields.

The Pegasus Farm is a fully developed campground, complete with bathhouse, indoor toilets, developed campsites, water and electric hookup sites, and full-hookups for RVs. This development has changed the structure of the ticket prices which are listed on the tickets page. Rustic camping is still available in the area that is called "the lower 20". It's the land across the railroad tracks that offers lots of space to camp and roam, a new pond, and some forest land.

Not to mention the two covered outdoor stages, over 15 bands, and good times, family area available.
