Summary

Steel Tree Films, founded by Mike Stivala, is a multi-award winning, multi-national, mutli-faceted, double-jointed content creation company based in New York, Eastern Pennsylvania and Los Angeles. They are known for their work with VH1, MTV, HBO, Fox Sports, ESPN and CBS as well as for their own innovative projects.

Hillers is their groundbreaking television series designed for internet distribution. They are in the middle of editing season one and have half the episodes complete. Steel Tree Films ran a Sonicbids gig listing earlier in the year and were so pleased with the fabulous music, that they decided to do it again. They are hoping to fill out the music requirements for the remaining episodes. They have 5-8 music slots left and their hope is to FILL THEM ALL WITH SONICBIDS ARTISTS! The first episode is scheduled to begin streaming in the summer of 2009.

We are looking for interesting, quirky, innovative, different, offbeat music that is slightly out of the ordinary but still rocks. To see the type of music we are using - check out our trailer at http://www.hillers.tv.

Selected artists will receive a $40.00 flat fee license and retain ownership of their music. Selected artists will also receive full screen credit, a copy of the finished product and featured link on the Hillers website. If a soundtrack album is produced, artists featured in the series will be offered an additional contract.

Hillers follows the life of Mitch Repter, a middle-class, middle-manager, as he struggles with the question of why his life went from happy and contented to miserable and unfulfilled over the last few months and with the larger question of what to do next.
