Summary

The 23rd annual Hills Alive Festival will take place on July 19-20, 2008 in Rapid City, SD. Each day, 20,000 people will gather to enjoy the free Christian festival, which will feature some of the top names in the Christian music industry! Previous performers have included Third Day, Mercy Me, Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Jeremy Camp, Salvador, Rebecca St. James, Hawk Nelson, Bebo Norman, Aaron Shust, Disciple, Seventh Day Slumber and many more!

Hills Alive is presented by area churches and KLMP/KSLT/KTPT, the regional Christian radio stations. Hills Alive believes that music is the universal language and the festival’s desire is to be a place where people can bring friends that don't know the Lord and hear the Word, through music, in a non-threatening environment. Hills Alive is looking for artists that have a heart for youth to play on its rock stage. Different genres including Christian rock, alternative, hip-hop or pop are welcome.

Hills Alive has reserved 5 performance slots specifically for Sonicbids artists. The regional event will be promoted heavily on 97.9 The Point/KSLT/KLMP radio and selected artists will be included in several feature shows on 97.9 The Point, which will highlight their music. Artists will also be included on promotional posters along with online advertising. No honorarium or travel expense reimbursement is available.
