Hills Alive Festival Talent Search 2009

The Hills Alive Talent Search, Presented by Word Label Group, is designed to offer artists the opportunity to let the fans decide who they want to see perform on the Rapid Fire Stage at Hills Alive through an Online Talent Competition. Practice hard and polish up because, the top 5 finalists (chosen by fan voting) will be performing at Hills Alive. The Overall winner will be chosen by music and radio industry professionals and will have the opportunity to perform their winning song on the main stage; they will also receive $100 prize money.

Overall Winner from Hills Alive Advances to National Finals: One overall winner from the Hills Alive Talent Search competition will advance to the national finals in September held in Nashville, Tennessee. There, the selected artist will compete with winners from other Christian Festival Association events from around the country – performing in front of a panel of record label executives and artist development experts. The national winner will receive an artist development deal with Word Label Group.

Live performances will take place in Rapid City, SD during Hills Alive on July 18-19 from approximately 1:00–3:00 p.m. daily. Selected artists are expected to perform one of the songs submitted using Sonicbids.



Hills Alive is a FREE community outreach festival that draws approximately 20,000 people each dayand features some of the top names in the Christian Music Industry.
