When the mp3 battle is posted, fans of both artists can vote and weigh in about the tracks via phone or e-mail. The winner receives free airplay for one month and inclusion on the mixtape compilation they produce every month. Any artist that wins 5 times is retired to the Wall of Fame.
Each artist's name and information is announced when the song is played. Winners also receive a free commercial telling there fans where their music can be downloaded. HipHopGrindersTV.com's mission is to promote and keep real indie hip-hop alive.
Please note: music does not have to be clean to featured in the song battle.
