Summary

Hip Hop Unplugged is a special interactive event in which artists perform a set of songs in front of music industry judges. One slot is reserved for a Sonicbids artist. Guests include: Billboard, RollingStone, MTV and more. The Hip Hop Unplugged Showcase format will occur twice a month, beginning on February 10, 2010. Each show consists of ten auditioned artists performing a song accompanied by a live band. A panel of industry, media, and celebrity judges with reputable backgrounds critique each performance. The winners with the highest scores move on to a Grand Finale Showcase (at the end of the year) where all previous showcase winners compete for a career-changing grand prize. The selected artist is awarded with an industry prize package that will ultimately enhance the winner’s awareness amongst the music industry.
