The Opportunity
1992 the Austin Area Commission for the arts was formed to purchase and restore the building to its historic grandeur. Now seating 622, this is one of only four such theaters in the state to be used as a theater. With a full year-long of events, the site hosts over 30 performing arts events each year and weekly live concerts and movies. This is an ongoing opportunity so apply, and we'll find the best date for your band.
The Band
- This is an amazing opportunity for local and nationally touring artists.
- We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues and Soul acts
- Bands must be actively playing shows
- Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
- All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
- Acts must have a solid online presence
