Purple Mouth Media is seeking original music for its first motion picture production, "How's My Driving." The film will be presented at 10+ film festivals throughout the country. Compensation is $75 per track selected./n/nPurple Mouth Media is seeking original music for its first motion picture production, "How's My Driving." The film is divided into short scenes with actors getting into funny (and frustrating) driving situations. In between the driving scenes, there will be street interviews and interviews with professionals about driving (how it affects our brains, our society, etc.). Total length of the film will be under 20 minutes. Filming is taking place on the streets of Portland, OR throughout September and into October. Compensation is $75 per track selected.



Purple Mouth is looking for two kinds of music: 1) a theme song that is either fun or funny, and 2) songs that will be playing in the cars while the actors are on camera (which will also serve as transitional music). The latter songs can be any genre; they will be using 10-15 songs total (not all from Sonicbids).



This is the debut motion picture for the filmmakers, so our budget is not of the Hollywood (or even Bollywood) stature. However, over the course of 2010, the film will be entered in no fewer than 10 film festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationwide. It will be promoted and sold in as many regional outlets as possible (such as movie chains, indie-media outlets, etc.). Artist(s) chosen will also receive 10 copies of the film to be sold or distributed as they see fit, as well as publicity on our website (www.purplemouthmedia.com).



If a soundtrack compilation is released, featured artists will receive further compensation, as decided on by the artist and Purple Mouth Media in a new and separate contract.
