Summary

The 5th Annual Hudson Valley SongFest & Music Expo is an event for all musicians, performing artists, and songwriters. They are looking to book 10 Sonicbids artists for the event. Those chosen will receive free admission, a slot in the Best New Music showcase, and will be eligible for the "new songwriters award." Award winners will open for Ellis Paul the following evening./n/nThe 5th annual Hudson Valley SongFest & Music Expo is all new for 2010. The event is for all musicians and performing artists, as well as songwriters and anyone interested in the music business. Attendees will be able to sell their merch, have listening posts, perform on the showcase stage, as well as attend panels and seminars with top industry pros.



The 10 Sonicbids artists chosen will receive free admission to all festival events, a slot in the Best New Music showcase on Friday May 21, and be eligible for the New Songwriters Award. Award winners will open the following evening for Ellis Paul in concert.



The Songfest & Expo will take place at Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, NY, 100 miles north of NYC. The Festival is produced by the Columbia Arts Team, and is sponsored by SESAC, Guitar Center, and WKZE. Discounts are available on accommodations and food. The Hudson Valley is a beautiful place to spend a spring weekend.
