Summary
Record Labels rarely develop artists or bands anymore so darn it- Human Factor decided they would. They are offering an all expenses paid trip to their studio in Washington, DC to do exactly that- develop an artistÂ’s sound. They will pick the artist based on one test: They like it.
Hint: They like creativity. And they like all genres of music. So if you write great songs, submit your EPK!
One winning artist will receive an all expenses paid trip to Washington, DC to work with international producer Blake Althen on a 3 song EP. Finalists may be contacted for more information before prize is awarded.

If you have always wanted to have a "Name Brand" producer work on your material but couldn't afford it, this is your chance. Blake Althen has produced songs and albums for artists all over the USA and Europe, including Abby Someone (South Dakota), Noa Tylo (South Africa / NYC), Pale Beneath the Blue (Cincinnati, OH), Michelangelo (NYC), and Korea (Sweden). He has even ventured into the corporate world with Lockheed Martin, Boeing and ARINC. His songs have won 1st place in songwriting contests such as the Just Plain Folks Music Awards and Songwriters Association of Washington, and he has been nominated for over 12 Wammies (Washington Area Music Awards).
