Summary

Hyperactive Music Magazine is now accepting online submissions for feature CD reviews (two CD reviews total). One review will be for an artist from the Southwest region and one from any other region (including international entrants). The CD review could also potentially turn into a feature article if decided upon by the application committee. This review/feature will be important to all artists wanting to expose their music to the rest of the nation. Applicants must have at least 3 songs in their EPK to apply. Selected artists will also win a 1 year subscription to Hyperactive Music Magazine. Hyperactive Music Magazine accepts online entries only through Sonicbids!

Hyperactive Music magazine is a full glossy, full color All-Genre music magazine. We cover unsigned, Indie and national bands that are from or come through the entire Southwest region. The magazine has risen from a Southwest-based forum to a more national magazine. We partner and involve ourselves in any avenue that will help the artists to get more recognition. This includes but is not limited to Major and regional Music festivals, internet and commercial radio stations, and all of the magazines are sent out to all the major record labels. We review regional and national CD's and do in depth interviews and profiles for artists in all genres.

Past artists reviewed include: David Bowie, Devo, The Hives, Mercury Rev, Kasabian, Doves, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Hawthorne Height, Senses Fail, Devotchka, Louis XIV, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Tabularasa, Stoic Frame, Rilo Kiley, Riddlin Kids, Rose Hill Drive, Tori Amos.
