Summary
Hyperactive Music Magazine was first published in 2004. Since then, the magazine has gone on to find a national audience and is available in over 5,000 locations across the US and Canada. Hyperactive has covered artists like Imogen Heap, The Flaming Lips, Queens Of The Stone Age, Panic At The Disco, Mudvayne, Hellogoodbye and many more.
In June 2005, we hosted our inaugural conference/festival, which featured over 140 bands (signed and unsigned) from all across the US and beyond as well 50 panel speakers from all facets of the music industry and 10,000 attendees. Our latest endeavor is a monthly music series at The District Bar and Grill downtown Albuquerque - the only venue downtown with an outdoor stage. The series kicks off October 28, 2006. Shows will be all ages and end at 9pm. Specific dates can be found on Hyperactives website www.hyperactivemusicmag.com.
Selected artists will be paid either a flat rate or percentage of the bar. This is the best way to come to New Mexico and play for a new audience. Each month will have 2 performance slots reserved for Sonicbids members.
