I AM Festival 2009

For TODAY ONLY, submit to the I AM FESTIVAL at half off the regular submission price. I AM will select 10-12 artists to play in front of 3,000 people. 2 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Compensation ranges from $150-$1500./n/nI AM FESTIVAL 2009 comes to you live on September 12th at The Waterfront Park in beautiful New London, Connecticut. The festival now in its fourth year has featured some of the best up and coming talent on the national scene including sets from Girl Talk, Matt & Kim, Jay Reatard, Martha Wainwright, Kidz in the Hall, Oneida, Oakley Hall, Awesome Color, Tiny Masters of Today, Fatal Film, MC Chris, Calla, Rainer Maria and more.

10-12 artists will play on 2 stages in front of a crowd of 3,000 people. The I AM Festival is guaranteeing to select 2 Sonicbids artists to perform. Genres accepted include indie, punk, jam, reggae, rock, folk, and jazz. Artists’ compensation ranges from $150 to $1500.

This year's installment of I AM FESTIVAL proves to be bigger and better than ever. More music, more food and an indie craft show that'll have you wishin you had more in your wallet to spend. The I AM FESTIVAL includes interactive workshops for concertgoers of any age. Learn how to screen print, make your own zine, build your own instruments or just swing over to the Stitch 'n' Bitch tent to get some much needed knitting done between bands!
