Ichthus Ascenxion Project Scout Competition

The Ichthus Ascenxion Project Scout Competition is proud to be working closely with Word Label Group to scout emerging talent.



This competition has 2 stages:

* Submit your EPK online using Sonicbids

* Automatically be entered into a public voting poll where fans can choose the winners



The 5 artists with the most votes will appear live at Ichthus Festival's "Deep End" stage on Thursday June 11 (9:30am - 12pm). There will also be 5 other winners chosen by the Ascenxion Project judging team will also appear in the competition on Thursday morning for a total of ten slots competing for the grand prize at the festival.



The Grand prize winner, to be chosen by the judges during their live performance, will receive a 15-minute slot on the main stage on Friday afternoon. The winner will also go on to the national competition in Nashville sponsored by Word records against the winners of the other participating CFA festivals. The national winner will receive a developmental deal with Word Records.



The second and third place finishers will receive a slot on the Edge stage.



Please note: If you are chosen as one of the finalists for the festival, an Ichthus representative will notify you. At that time you will be required to submit a $100 competition fee. Selected artists must perform a song featured on one of their submitted demos. For those who wish to compete as a band, Ichthus will supply all the necessary backline gear. Sharing back-line gear is required and makes the transition between contestants smoother.



About Voting: Artists will be uploaded into the voting poll on a weekly basis. Voting will run until May 15. The earlier you submit, the more chance you have of winning.
