Summary

Illinois College is a NACA affiliated school located in Jacksonville, Illinois. There are 1,000 students enrolled, and the Student Activities Board is one of the largest organizations on campus. They typically book 6-8 music acts each year, and are currently accepting submissions from both NACA and non-NACA acts for performances during the Spring 2009 semester. Local and regional acts are encouraged, but Illinois College will consider larger, touring acts as well.

Most performances take place in the campus dining hall or coffee shop and take place throughout the semester. Illinois College is open to any genre, but prefers acoustic acts and small bands. Singer/Songwriter, 80s/90s, alternative, indie rock, country, and pop are welcome. Acts who can provide their own sound are welcome to do so. However, Illinois College works with an outside sound technician throughout the year and can provide sound if necessary.

llinois College will compensate acts with a negotiable amount inclusive of travel, ranging anywhere from $250 to $2500. Lodging is provided as well. Past performers from 2007/2008 include Recycled Percussion, Drew Davis Band, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Dave Tamkin, and Tim Blane.
