About the festival:

For 12 years, 5,000 like-minded fans of indie-rock-pop music have pilgrimaged to one of the most beautiful festival sites in Germany; amidst pine trees, with little lakes hidden close by. Their reason for coming is the opening of the festival season in Germany - the Immergut Festival; provided that they have got a ticket for it. For six years namely, the Immergut Festival has repeatedly been sold out weeks ahead. Keeping the feeling of "we-are-in-this-together" alive, the festival coordinators avoided pumping up the Immergut into another "festival monster", in which you have to look for the stage on a map. Three stages taking turns is all that is needed to experience the season’s best in indie-rock-pop. A mix of national heroes of the scene, like The Notwist, Tocotronic, or Blumfeld, alongside international guests like The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nada Surf, Broken Social Scene, The Weakerthans, Cursive or Adam Green has been the foundation of the festival from the beginning on. Being at the Immergut Festival means coming home for two days, smiling competitively with the sun, and being among 5,000 friends.
