Summary

The Independent Music World Series (IMWS) is the country's most exciting live music showcase, giving indie artists the chance to perform in front of top music industry executives and compete for over $35,000 in recording gear, instruments, CD manufacturing services, DJ equipment, and memberships. The Disc Makers IMWS searches for the best unsigned talent throughout the country with regional showcases throughout the U.S.. Professional music screeners from TAXI will listen to each submission and select 100 semi-finalists, and the editors of Billboard Magazine will choose the top six finalists to showcase in front of fans and industry judges at The Knitting Factory in New York City on October 20, 2005. This submission is for the Northeast IMWS. Eligible states include: CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, VA, DC and WV. International entrants are also welcome to enter this contest.



Please note: Per the official rules of the IMWS, you must have a minimum of three songs in your EPK in order to be reviewed by TAXI.
