Summary

The Independent Music World Series (IMWS) is the country's most exciting live music showcase, giving indie artists the chance to perform in front of top music industry executives and compete for over $35,000 in recording gear, instruments, CD manufacturing services, DJ equipment, and more. The IMWS searches for the best unsigned talent in each of four regions throughout the country (the Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast). Professional music screeners from TAXI will listen to each submission and select 100 semi-finalists, and the editors of Billboard magazine will choose the top six finalists, to be announced on December 19th, who will perform in front of fans and industry judges at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on January 15, 2004. This submission is for the Southwest IMWS. Eligible states include: AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA, WY. International entrants are also welcome to enter this contest.
