Indiegrrl Song Contest

Indiegrrl was founded in 1998 as a forum for women in the independent music industry. We are now a 1500 member organization committed to bringing on new members and new sponsors for the growth of this organization.



We are pleased to announce our 1st Annual Song contest. This contest is for females all ages. Quality of recording is not a factor, as songs will be judged on musical composition, lyrics, and uniqueness. Musical compositions only as well as songs with lyrics can be entered. Don't delay and take a chance at missing this deadline. "Get your entry in now!!!" Winners will be announced by October 2006.

Over $8300 worth of prizes have been gathered so far and this list is growing. These prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place finishers. In addition to the package prizes, Online Gigs will give a FREE one-month subscription to EVERYONE who enters. That giveaway is in addition to the already one month subscription that Online Gigs gave to the Indiegrrl Performing Members when coming on as a sponsor to Indiegrrl in May, 2006. Spotted Kiva Productions is giving a $20 gift certificate to EVERYONE that enters to be used toward CD duplication and a $50 gift certificate to EVERYONE that enters to be used toward web design.

The 15 top place point winners’ songs will be put on a compilation CD with 1,000 copies being produced by Oasis CD Manufacturing that will be used for future Indiegrrl Promotions. This is sure to give the 15 top artists some more exposure.

This competition is open to Females of ALL ages.

Please note: There are separate submission packages for Indiegrrl Performing members and non-Indiegrrl members. The non-member fee submission includes the $20 membership fee and an automatic membership to the Performing Member Roster of Indiegrrl. For an entry to win, the artist MUST BE either a previously existing "Active Performing Member" or sign-up through this special Sonicbids offer. If you are not a member and submit to the existing member package, your submission will not be considered.
