Selected artist will also receive professional production of the ad, which the band may keep for their own use after airing. Only artists with an album ready for sale can be considered. Finalists may be asked to send their album to Rock 1.

Rock 1 has a total viewership of over 7.5 million people worldwide. Every weekly Episode is broadcast four times to in the US, Canada, and the UK to an 18-30 year-old core demographic. Episodes are also distributed throughout North America on DVD and worldwide via downloads. Artists have the option to produce the spot themselves and have it cleaned up by Rock 1 as necessary and viable.
