Each week for 12 weekly episodes Rock 1 features songs from 2 top local Indie bands and one headline band recorded at major clubs, festivals & concerts such as Hard Rock Clubs, the Vans Warped Tour, Tattoo Rock Parlor, the Gibson Guitar Artists' Lounge, and many others./n/nRock 1 Productions is seeking great new bands for the Indie Music Showcase TV series. Each week for 12 weekly episodes Rock 1 features songs from 2 top local Indie bands and one headline band recorded at major clubs, festivals & concerts such as Hard Rock Clubs, the Vans Warped Tour, Tattoo Rock Parlor, the Gibson Guitar Artists' Lounge, and many others. This is the unique 'The Indies Play' segment.

Rock 1 has a total viewership of over 7.5 million people worldwide. Every weekly Episode is broadcast four times to in the US, Canada, and the UK to an 18-30 year-old core demographic.. Episodes are also distributed throughout North America on DVD and worldwide via downloads.

These local groups are headlined by a set from a popular nationally signed breaking band (touring widely with songs/videos in radio & TV rotation). This is their hit 'Breaking Today' segment. They have taped a series of in-person Music Business Interviews with recording Stars and renowned technical experts, one of which airs on each episode as the informative 'What the Pros Say' segment.

Rock 1 has 208 College & University affilitates including Arizona State, Ball State, Brown, Cal State, Elon, Emerson, Emory, Fairfield, Iowa State, Ithaca, Northwestern, NYU, Ohio State, Rutgers and the SUNY schools.
