The showcases in both Dublin and Limerick judged by industry professionals in A&R, booking, management, production, legal, etc.

The top act will be invited to perform at Indie Week Toronto this October and given a great showcase slot to perform in front of booking agents, radio/press, labels, etc from North America.

All selected artists will receive:

  • A listing on
  • A chance as well to be considered for Indie Week Toronto (all Ireland submissions will also be considered in the Toronto Festival held on October 7-10, 2009)

Success stories include Irish act Walter Mitty and the Realists (Voted best band 2008), who went on to acquire Canadian management, and whose success in Indie Week Toronto helped them to secure a high-profile showcase at Canadian Music Week 2009. Limerick band Vesta Varro (Voted best band 2007) went on to acquire a booking agent in Germany and were offered slots on Canadian festivals such as Rogers Picnic.

This opportunity is for European artists only.

Indie Week prides itself on being an artist-friendly festival that provides valuable opportunities for networking and exposure through artist showcases. You bring the talent, Indie Week will bring the industry.
