Summary

Platinum Producer Gregory Doby Jr. is owner of Unidec Entertainment Group/Regime Records and music producer for Goodfella Music Production House. Dissatisfied with the lack of exposure, awareness, and resources available for the urban entertainment industry within the Midwest, Doby and a group of spirited volunteers decided to build a platform for regional music industry professionals to network and unite. The result was the Industry Meltdown Midwest Music Summit.

Unidec’s 2008 Industry Meltdown Midwest Music Summit is one of the largest urban music industry seminars to hit the Midwest. This year's event will be held on July 26th at the Monona Terrace convention Center in Madison, WI. The seminar’s focus is to unify artists, radio professionals, DJs, promoters, musicians, producers, retailers, record labels, and executives in the music industry. The Summit has created a large-scale event which stimulates awareness about the industry, and connects regional business and professionals in the urban entertainment community.

The summit is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for showcase performance consideration. This year A&R representatives from major and independent record labels will be in attendance. The event will also feature panels by esteemed industry professionals, live performances, and celebrity appearances. This is a great chance for any artist to perform at a top tier urban entertainment event in the Midwest.
