Banana Belt Studios and Bennett NW Enterprises are Inland Northwest companies owned and operated by Eric Bennett, and Greg Jordan, two of the area's recognized professional, published musicians, audio engineers, and producers, who have toured, recorded, and shared stages with many of the world's top performing artists, including members of Night Ranger, Ozzie Osborne, Cake, Taj Mahal, Third Eye Blind, 38 Special, Train, Tesla, Robert Cray, Robin Trower, Pat Travers Band, and more. These music professionals are connected in the music industry nationally and abroad.

One of Banana Belt's artists is a world renowned 2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, currently signed with EMI/Sony/BMG and touring in support of the newest Asian release of their album, recorded by Greg at Banana Belt Studio.

Bennett NW Enterprises and Banana Belt Studio, in a joint effort, are pleased to announce the creation of a compilation CD of original music. Our goal is to showcase original music from the top 40 emerging artists in the Pop Rock/Alternative Rock/Punk/Metal genres, as selected by a panel of non-competing industry professionals and music producers. Winning artists will have their winning songs distributed to 1500 of the world's top A&R reps, as well as submission to over 150 Radio Stations.

CD release date is June 30, 2006. Musicians selected to participate on the CD will also be asked to perform at the Area Venue for a CD release event during the upcoming summer season.

Upon selection each artist will have the option of being added to the compilation, by helping to share costs associated with this event by paying a fee of $159.95. Each Artist will receive ten (10) BEST of the BEST Inland Northwest CD's featuring their selected track. Four Sonicbids artists will be selected for inclusion without the fee.

Submissions are open to a variety of genres including:

Pop, Alternative, Grunge, Metal, and Punk Rock. All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation
