CONTEST: International Songwriting Competition 2020

$25 Application Fee until January 6th

ISC will be awarding over $150,000 in cash and prizes shared among 71 winners in 2020. Additional prizing details will be announced soon. 

Renowned for its high caliber of winners and judges, ISC offers you the chance to have your music heard by some of the most high-profile and influential figures in the music industry. 

2020 Judges Include: Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Tom Waits, Irma Thomas, Mike Shinoda & Joe Hahn (Linkin Park), Joe Louis Walker, Nancy Wilson, and many more.

Past Winners Include Vance Joy, Gotye, Bastille, The Band Perry, Kimbra, Gin Wigmore, and Andrew Bird. 

ISC is reopening submissions for its annual Stocking Stuffer promotion until January 6, 2021. In the spirit of the holidays, the fee is discounted to $25 per entry. One overall winner from the Stocking Stuffer promo will be awarded a prize package from our sponsors that includes a Stealth microphone from Aston Mics, a Spire Studio from iZotope, and a V-Collection 7 Software Instrument Bundle from Arturia. All songs entered into Stocking Stuffer will also be included in the overall 2020 competition. This is the VERY LAST CHANCE to enter the 2020 International Songwriting Competition (ISC).

• Winners will be selected based on individual songs
  
• Professional recording is not required for submitting
• The Performance category is based not only on songwriting but also the overall performance and delivery of the song. All genres of music are accepted in this category
• Depending on the category, submissions are judged on the following criteria: Creativity, Originality, Lyrics, Melody, and Arrangement (Some categories may have additional criteria).
• Note: Teen category entrants must be 18 yrs. old or younger by December 31, 2020. If there are multiple songwriters, they must all adhere to this age requirement. 

Categories Include: AAA (Adult Album Alternative), Adult Contemporary (AC), Americana, Blues, Children's Music, Comedy/Novelty, Country, EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin Music, Lyrics Only, Music Video, Performance, Pop/Top 40, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rock, Teen, Unsigned Only, Unpublished, and World Music.
