CONTEST: International Songwriting Competition 2017 (Unsigned Only) - Stocking Stuffer Promo

ISC 2017 REOPENS ENTRIES FOR STOCKING STUFFER PROMOTION!  

In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, ISC is re-opening submissions from Dec. 18, 2017 - Jan. 3, 2018 for its annual Stocking Stuffer promotion. Your submission fee is discounted to $25 per entry. 

There is no limit to the number of songs you may enter, and all songs entered will be eligible to win the overall ISC prizes which include over $150,000 in cash, merchandise, and services. This will be the very last chance to enter ISC 2017, so enter now, and Happy Holidays from the ISC team!

ISC is an annual song competition whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena. Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians are invited to participate. 

2017 Judges Include: Tom Waits, Lorde, Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction), Nancy Wilson (Heart), Bastille, Hardwell, Ziggy Marley, The Mavericks, John Mayall, and Don Omar to name a few, as well as industry executives from Elektra, Sire, Warner, Sony, and Interscope.  For a full list of judges click here.

• The Unsigned Only category is open to anyone who is not signed to a major label record company (Sony BMG, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, EMI, or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or imprints)
  
• Songs entered into the Unsigned Only category must be entered into at least one other category (excluding the Unpublished category). Please note that there is an additional fee for the second category
• Winners will be selected based on individual songs
  
• The Performance category is based not only on songwriting but also the overall performance and delivery of the song. All genres of music are accepted in this category
• All songwriters entering the Teen category must be 18 yrs old or younger by January 3, 2018. All genres of music are accepted in this category. Entering this category does not exclude you from entering other categories as well
• Entrants in this category are eligible for the all prizes
  

This category will be judged exclusively by established, high-profile music publishers. This is your chance to get your music heard by publishers who can help your songwriting career. 

Prize Details:

• One overall winner will receive 2 free days of recording time at Dark Horse Institute, located outside of Nashville, TN. Travel/lodging not included.
  
• Grand Prize Winner will receive $25,000 in cash along with other prizes
• First, Second, and Third Place winners will also receive prizes from companies like D'Addario, CAD Audio, ONErpm, PreSonus, Harman, Gig Salad, Sweetwater Sound, Musician Wellness, Dark Horse Institute, and more
