Summary

Internet Records is announcing a talent contest for musicians who want to be part of an upcoming compilation album that will be released late 2005 - early 2006 on our label. We're actively looking for fresh, up-and-coming talent, and artists that are just overlooked by the major record companies. This is an opportunity for new musicians and veterans who feel they have the talent to make it in this industry to showcase their talents to the general public.

There will be an initial run of 3,000 CDs, and once selected there are no additional costs to be involved! Artists will be given 10 CDs each to use how they deem. Further CDs can be purchased for a discounted price via our web site or phone service. All genres are welcome to submit, however we are looking for great material that shows creativity. Groups or artists that sound like clones of major acts will not be considered. Please make sure that you adhere to these guidelines or the material will not be disqualified.

Terms And Conditions

How this works? Every artist will submit between 2-3 strong songs in their EPK to be considered. All song writing credits, and song ownership will be retained by the respective owners, till such time that songs are used on the compilation. We will be choosing the best 12 artists that demonstrate creativity, originality, and professionalism with their craft. The only way to impress the A&R Department is to submit great material to be considered. Once the deadline is reached we will listen to all material and choose between 10-12 artist/groups that personify what we believe should be representative of Internet Records Inc. All Artists/Groups will be notified, and asked to provide the song requested, in a suitable format ready for mastering/manufacturing. Any artist not submitting a master copy of their material, will not be considered. All submitted material must be in mp3 format. Artists must provide contact information including daytime phone number, listing of all members (for a group), etc, to be filled out in their sonic bids EPK.
