Summary
The JivinÂ’ Jones Irish Rock Fest is currently looking for bands that may be interested in performing at various installments of the Irish Rock Fest series in 2008. The first show is scheduled for January 5th, 2008. Quarterly dates will be determined.
The Jivin' Jones Irish Rock Festival was founded in December 2004 with inaugural events spanning both sides of the Hudson river: One night in Hoboken, NJ and one night in New York City. The first Irish Rock Festival was an incredible success and to continue the tradition, it was recommended that the event occur more often to highlight more groups that are working to expand the genre of Celtic influenced rock music.
The Festival has recently found itself in varying venues in the tri-state area as a music series featuring the best Irish rock bands from around the globe. Events stretch from New York to Pennsylvania.
