STOCKING STUFFER PROMOTION: In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, ISC is reopening submissions for ONE WEEK ONLY (December 14-January 2), and the fee is a very discounted $25 per entry.

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is the premier international songwriting competition in the world, giving away over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including a Grand Prize of $25,000 US cash and more in merchandise and services.

Renowned for its high caliber of winners and judges, ISC offers you the chance to have your music heard by some of the most high-profile and influential figures in the music industry. 71 winners will be selected.

The Opportunity

ISC is an annual song competition whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena. Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians are invited to participate.

Categories Include: AAA (Adult Album Alternative), Adult Contemporary (AC), Americana, Blues, Children's Music, Comedy/Novelty, Country, EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin Music, Lyrics Only, Music Video, Performance, Pop/Top 40, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rock, Teen, Unsigned Only, Unpublished, and World Music.

Official Judges/Mentors Include: Tom Waits, Chris Cornell, Lorde, Bastille, Donovan, Ziggy Marley, Kaskade, Fat Joe, Craig Kallman (CEO, Atlantic Records) and many more.

The Band

  • Winners will be selected based on individual songs
  • The Performance category is based not only on songwriting but also the overall performance and delivery of the song. All genres of music are accepted in this category
  • All songwriters entering the Teen category must be 18 yrs. old or younger by December 31, 2016. All genres of music are accepted in this category. Entering this category does not exclude you from entering other categories as well

The Gig

  • Grand Prize Winner will receive $25,000 and mentoring with elite record company executives and more
