Special Promotion has been extended through 11/26!

  • With so much happening in the world today, ISC 2018 is reopening entries for two special promotions. If you have  songs related to any sort of SOCIAL CAUSE or great LOVE SONGS, these promotions are perfect for you
  • 10 winners will be selected from each promotion, and each will be eligible for additional prizes. All songs entered will also be entered into the overall ISC 2018 competition. Stay tuned for more details.
  • Submit your songs that are related to any sort of social cause 

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is the premier international songwriting competition in the world, giving away over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including a Grand Prize of $25,000 US cash and more in merchandise and services.

Renowned for its high caliber of winners and judges, ISC offers you the chance to have your music heard by some of the most high-profile and influential figures in the music industry.

The Opportunity

Categories Include: AAA (Adult Album Alternative), Adult Contemporary (AC), Americana, Blues, Children's Music, Comedy/Novelty, Country, EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin Music, Lyrics Only, Music Video, Performance, Pop/Top 40, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rock, Teen, Unsigned Only, Unpublished, and World Music.

2018 Judges Include Tom Waits, Bastille, Kane Brown, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Hardwell, Portugal. The Man, and more.

The Band

  • Submitted songs must be about a social cause 
  • Winners will be selected based on individual songs
  • The Performance category is based not only on songwriting but also the overall performance and delivery of the song. All genres of music are accepted in this category
  • All songwriters entering the Teen category must be 18 yrs. old or younger by December 31, 2018. All genres of music are accepted in this category. Entering this category does not exclude you from entering other categories as well.

The Gig

Additional Compensation Details:

  • Grand Prize Winner will receive $25,000 in cash along with other prizes
  • First, Second, and Third Place winners will also receive prizes from companies like The Tracking Room, Lurssen Mastering, Gig Salad, and more.
