Islands Folk Festival

The Islands Folk Festival has been bringing the spirit of community and music together for over two decades. The Festival is located on beautiful Providence Heritage Farm, just outside the City of Duncan, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island, Canada. This year nearly 2,500 people will celebrate the 24th anniversary of the festival on July 25-27th, 2008. The festival will feature over 150 musicians on one main stage, four secondary stages, and assorted workshop rooms.



The Islands Folk Festival is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. All Artists are compensated for performances, to be negotiated on an individual basis prior to booking. Artists also receive free camping or billeting, and food and beverage passes. In some cases the festival can also arrange transportation to and from the festival grounds; however artists are responsible to arrange their own transportation to and from Vancouver Island. This is a great festival for any artist to perform for an established and entertaining folk festival.
