FEST: Jackson Indie Music Week 2020 (MS)

Jackson Indie Music Week 2020 is a week-long series of concerts, showcases, panels, and parties, spotlighting artists, musicians, bands, and filmmakers from all over the U.S. We're looking for local musicians from MS to play our 4th annual event! 

The festival is slated for January 12-19, 2020. 

Jackson Indie Music Week (JIMWEEK) takes place at venues throughout Jackson, Mississippi in its Downtown, Midtown, Belhaven, and Fondren districts and has had upward of 2500 attendees annually since year one. JIMWEEK is slated to become the fastest-growing music festival in the southeast! 

This is a celebration of Central Mississippi’s independent music scene. It is a week-long series of concerts, showcases, panels, and parties, spotlighting creatives from the genres of Rock, Hip Hop, EDM, Blues, and Independent Film & Video. Jackson Indie Music Week aims to honor what has come to be known as the “Birthplace of America’s Music” in none other than the entertainment capital of Mississippi. 

• Submissions must be from Mississippi for this opportunity. 
• We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. Solo acts are welcome to apply
• Bands must be actively playing shows 
• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
• Bands are able to sell merch on-site
• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
