Summary

Jam in the Barn is located in the barn and the lawn of Lord Fairfax Community College in Warrenton, VA. The school provides an awesome venue for great local and touring bands to perform for a great crowd of college students, adults, and local high school students. Average attendance is 75-200. All shows are all ages, but some shows may require a minimal cover charge depending on the bands performing.

The school is currently booking for the 2007-2008 school year.

Lord Fairfax is interested in booking just about every genre with the exception of very loud music. They will book exceptional rock and hip-hop groups depending on sound; jam bands, jazz, funk, reggae, and world are encouraged to submit. Their goal is to provide a diverse and wide variety of genres of music. Comedians, poets, acting skits, magic, etc. are also encouraged to submit for consideration.

The school has one concert per month. Selected musicians may be chosen for other venues within the area including several coffee shops and/or bars.

Travel and lodging for traveling artists may be available. Upon being booked, artists are expected to promote and network their show as best they can. Because the school is in a small town, every little bit of promotion is beneficial.

Compensation is not guaranteed, but is negotiable.

Past Performers include Tyrone Wells, Rude Rock Family, Gregory Douglass, Trees, Solace Sovay, Infinite Soul, Maids of Cadiz, Ill Angelic, and many others.
