Relix JamOFF! (January/February 2014)

Relix Magazine's JAMOFF! is currently accepting submissions from unsigned artists for the January 2014 issue. One Sonicbids artist will be selected and featured on a Relix CD sampler bound free in over 102,000 issues of Relix distributed internationally.



Relix Magazine is the second longest running music publication and recently celebrated their 40th anniversary published their 250th issue. Relix also owns and operates Jambands.com and the newly launched Relix.com where CD compilations are streamed via the media player at the top of the page for the duration of the issue.

Each CD includes between 14-16 tracks from artists of all backgrounds, from DIY to major labels such as Sony and Warner Brothers. Recent compilations have included Gov’t Mule, Slightly Stoopid, Mickey Hart, Portugal. The Man, Tame Impala, Dawes and The Punch Brothers.

The selected artist will receive:

• A track on Relix magazine CD Sampler - bundled with over 102,000 issues of Relix and distributed internationally


• An "On the Rise" ad in Relix Magazine (to run in upcoming issue ONLY). The selected artist must be prepared to submit art for print ad (either final or to be created) within 4 days of being notified.

The two runners up receive:

• An ad in Relix magazine (to run in upcoming issue ONLY). Selected artists must be prepared to submit art for print ad (either final or to be created) within 4 days of being notified.
