FEST: Jasper Folk Music Festival 2019 (Canada)

Hello Sonicbids artists, Jasper Folk Music Festival will be taking place September 6th-8th, 2019, and we're looking to book the best artists on the Sonicbids roster. 

Come play at our amazing weekend-long family-friendly festival, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies! Known for our welcoming atmosphere, fabulous music, and amazing mountain views, the Jasper Folk Music Festival will not disappoint.  Sets vary from 60-90 minutes and we have a final jam wrap up on Sunday with as many artists as possible from the weekend.

The Jasper Folk Music Festival is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Canadian Rocky Culture through roots, rhythm, folk and blues music. Our vision is all about local music partnerships and festivals.

For twenty years the town of Jasper hosted the bi-annual Jasper Heritage Folk Festival, and now we’re the next note on its evolutionary scale. This town has a variety of venues to choose from, and the JFMF continually experiments with all of them. From Legions to fire halls, restaurants to pubs, parks, and backyards there’s something for every genre of folk ‘n blues musician to choose from. Ultimately showcasing this talent to the live music junkies of J-town on a regular basis is the goal, we are after all professionals.

We're looking for Indie, Blues, Acoustic, Roots, World, Reggae, Funk, Country, Folk, Jazz acts and just about anything in between.

• Open to acts from all regions
• Must have family-friendly material if chosen for a daytime slot

• Outdoor stage
• Set lengths vary from 60-90 minutes
• Sound equipment provided
• Backline provided
• Food, drinks, and accommodations provided
• Acts may sell merch on site and be part of the festival's official merch booth
• Inclusion in official press
• Selected acts may have a guest list
