Jazz & Rib Fest

The Jazz & Rib Fest is a highly anticipated summertime tradition offering both jazz and rib connoisseurs the finest in jazz and barbeque for more than thirty years. They festival will feature about 40 artists over three days. At least 3 Sonicbids artists will be selected and receive financial compensation for their performance./n/nThe Jazz & Rib Fest is a highly anticipated summertime tradition offering both jazz and rib connoisseurs the finest in jazz and barbeque for more than thirty years. Building off the success of our move to the premier entertainment destination of downtown Columbus, they are thrilled to once again call The Arena District the home of hot ribs and cool jazz.

All artists that perform at the Columbus Jazz & Rib Festival receive financial compensation. Meals, lodging, ground transportation and backline are provided to some of artists, but not to all. Merchandise sales have histrionically been handled by the artists with festival merch rates of 10% or less.

The festival will feature about 40 artists over three days. Artists specializing in all types of Jazz will be considered. Do not submit to perform if your group is primarily performing pop, rock, hip hop, folk, country, alternative, jam, etc.

McFerson Commons and North Bank Park stages will anchor the event with performances featuring the best regional and international jazz artists. The Jazz Café at North Bank Pavilion will showcase local artists on an intimate riverfront stage set against the city skyline. Award winning rib-burners representing 10 States, Canada and Australia will fire up their grills along Spring & Long Streets to compete for "Best Ribs" bragging rights.
