The Rowan Blues and Jazz Society is hosting a music series fundraiser in hopes of finding an opening act for the 12th Annual Blues and Jazz Fest in October.Selected artists will receive limited compensation; however, will perform at the Black Box Theater, and may also go on to perform at the Festival./n/nThe Rowan Blues and Jazz Society is hosting a music series fundraiser in hopes of finding an opening act for the 12th Annual Blues and Jazz Fest in October.
Selected artists will receive limited compensation; however, will perform at the Black Box Theater, and may also go on to perform at the Festival. Artists are also encouraged to bring their own equipment and sound man if needed.
The series will most likely take place twice/month starting in late June. The selected should contact the promoter for specific dates. This is a fundraiser for the Jazz and Blues Festival, and all proceeds will benefit the Rowan Blues Society.
