Camp Jeep at the New York Auto Show

Jeep and Sonicbids have teamed up to give you the opportunity to play at the New York Auto Show on the Camp Jeep NY stage, April 10 -17, 2004. This is the opportunity for 30-40 bands (almost exclusively selected through Sonicbids) to get themselves in front of huge crowds – as the largest auto show in the nation, the New York Auto Show attracts a daily attendance of up to 175,000 people!. All artists selected to perform will play a 30-minute set and slots will be from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. each day. Performances should be mostly electrified acoustic, and can be duet to full band. Jeep is looking for bands in genres including melodic rock to alternative blues, rock and pop and singer/songerwriter.



All artists selected to play will be promoted on posters that will be put into thousands of clubs throughout the NYC metro area and will be featured on an outdoor jumbotron during the week of the auto show and on the Javitz TV throughout the venue. Plus, Jeep will be running live remotes from Sirius Radio and local radio stations. Jeep will also be holding a two-night after hours VIP event featuring headliner performers like the Counting Crows, at the famed local music venue, the Knitting Factory.



The Camp Jeep NY Stage will be located in the 54,000 SQ FT pavilion next to the Javitz Convention Center and will be a fully equipped 20 x 30 stage with ample standard backline so artists should only have to bring portable instruments.
